FGVLAB is one of the leading agricultural testing laboratory with over 40 years’ experience, providing wide range of analytical services in Malaysia. World Class performance has always been our theme.
Our laboratories are managed by experienced and qualified Chemists and staffed by knowledgeable and trained personnel to achieve and maintain a high standard of quality in all aspects of the services provided.
Our laboratories are accredited to MS ISO/IEC 17025 Standard (SAMM certificate No.190 & 425), by the Department of Standard Malaysia.
We are also assessed and awarded the Laboratory Excellence Award by Institut Kimia Malaysia (IKM) and Safety & Health Award by Malaysian Society For Occupational Safety and Health (MSOSH).

Genomics lab at FGV support Molecular Services, specialise in various DNA-based works cover from DNA extraction to genotyping. Our services utilize the state-of-the-art genetic analyser with 20 oil palm specific SSR markers and multiplexing approach for efficient and fast turn-around time.

Plant Tissue Culture
FGV Holdings Berhad involvement in tissue culture began in 1980s and since 2010, the FGV Innovation Centre (FGVIC) has successfully produced 1.0 million tissue cultured oil palm ramets annually. In addition to oil palm tissue culture planting materials, FGVIC has also actively produced banana ramets to accommodate the varied needs of customers.
